Adult Dance Classes

2023-2024 Season

Ballet Mondays 5:45pm - 6:30pm

The class will cover basic ballet technique and vocabulary. Adaptations will be offered for those with previous experience. All levels welcome!

Ballet shoes are sold at the studio for $25 or can be purchased on your own.

Tap 1 mondays 6:30pm-7:15pm

This beginner level class will cover fundamental tap steps, simple rhythm patterns, and sequencing steps to form a routine.

Tap shoes are sold at the studio for $35 or can be purchased on your own.

Tap 2 mondays 7:15pm-8:00pm

This intermediate level class will cover intermediate level tap steps, rhythm patterns, and sequencing steps to form a routine. Previous tap experience recommended.

Tap shoes are sold at the studio for $35 or can be purchased on your own.

Jazz Mondays 8:00pm-8:45pm

This class will include a warmup, instruction of basic jazz dance skills and combinations, and ending with choreography set to music. All levels welcome!

Jazz shoes or dance sneakers required. Jazz shoes are sold at the studio for $35 or can be purchased on your own. Bring a water bottle!

No registration fee for adults!

Upon registration, you will receive an email directing you to set up your portal. Through your portal you can submit monthly tuition payment. Payment is also accepted at the front desk if you prefer.

THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND WAIVER OF CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS. * For and in consideration of the above named child's participation in the programs offered by LaVerne Meier School of Dance, the undersigned, individually and on behalf of the undersigned’s child, personal representatives, successors and assigns, hereby waives, releases, forever discharges, indemnifies, hold harmless and will defend J + J Dance LLC, dba LaVerne Meier School of Dance, including but not limited to Jaana Schweitzer and any employees, agents, volunteers, heirs, personal representatives and assigns (“Owners”) of, from, and against any and all liability, claims, actions, causes of action, suits, expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, cost, loss, damages, and demands of any kind of nature, known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen (“Loss”) sustained by the undersigned’s child, which may be caused, directly or indirectly by the child’s participation in the programs, the negligence of Owners or other persons, or some other cause. In addition, I hereby release the undersigned’s child’s image to be used in videos and photos for marketing purposes.
